Creation of panoramic decor on all the walls and ceilings of the dining room. The corners are cutaways concealing cupboards. Made for an individual, the walls illustrate La Fontaine's fables, "The Fox and the Grapes", "The Hare and the Tortoise", "The Two Pigeons", "The Jay Adorned with the Peacock's Feathers", "The Cicada and the ant". The characters are hidden, especially in certain rocks and clouds. The client wanted to integrate certain elements of the Anglo-Chinese garden "the Desert of Retz" and its state property.
